Happy Mother’s Day!
Cows are remarkable mothers. At the sanctuary, we witness their love as unconditional, practical and embodied care. Mother cows keep their calves in their steady attention, creating a calm perimeter around them where their calves are free to learn and grow. Through time, that circle widens as the calves gain confidence, always guided by their patient, protective and deeply attuned mother.
This Mother’s Day, we honor cows as some of nature’s most devoted mothers – and we thank you for standing with them. With your support, our cows are able to live out their full lives with kindness and compassion, nurturing their young with the dignity and gentleness that come so naturally to them. Together, we’re celebrating all those who, like cow mothers, love faithfully and with their whole being.
